Protection center
Education only · incident intake unavailableRecord the evidence. Route the case. Preserve human judgment.
The intended protection workflow gives creators and rights participants a private place to report suspected misuse, preserve evidence, apply appropriate holds, and route a matter without claiming an automatic legal determination.
Not an emergency service
Immediate danger needs immediate, local help.
Image Rights Vault is not an emergency-response service, law-enforcement agency, court, crisis line, or substitute for a lawyer. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If a platform or service is currently distributing harmful material, use that provider's urgent reporting channel as well.
Do not upload illegal material, intimate imagery, government identification, or unnecessary personal data to this public site. Public incident submission and evidence custody are not available here.
Prepare a report
Describe the event without exposing the evidence publicly.
A future intake will ask for the category of concern, affected asset or item, where and when it was observed, the reporting person's relationship to the work, immediate safety considerations, and a safe way to follow up. Evidence is intended to remain private and access-controlled.
- Unauthorized image use or suspected copyright misuse
- Likeness misuse, fake or materially altered media
- AI deepfake or digital-replica misuse
- Nonconsensual intimate imagery
- False provenance or a stolen physical item
- Duplicate or counterfeit editions
- Payment, ownership, license, or other rights disputes
Case handling
A report starts review; it does not prove the claim.
The intended case record preserves the allegation, evidence references, access history, assigned reviewer, communications, actions, and resolution status. Depending on authority and risk, a case can block new licenses, print jobs, sales, delivery, or public claims while the issue is reviewed.
The platform may route a matter to the relevant participant, photographer, buyer, partner, platform, insurer, counsel, or public authority. It should state what action it actually took and avoid implying that it adjudicated ownership, liability, criminality, or damages.
Public status
Warn without publishing private allegations.
A public item or asset record may show a neutral status such as disputed, lost, replaced, or retired when disclosure is authorized and needed for safety. Private evidence, identities, contact details, legal strategy, and unproven allegations remain restricted.
